“I have been a customer of Chadds Ford Climate control since moving to town in 2019. I have purchased three variable speed heat pumps, a generator, two water heaters and a water shut off valve. I am about to buy another unit to replace my last old unit. I have purchased the maintenance contracts since day one. One of my new (2-3 years old) units froze up. I called and then the technician attempted to fix it. He was nice and thoughtful. However, CFCC had to come back the next day as it froze again. I spoke with someone when I received the bill back in August and they said I should not pay the invoice. Four months later, I am still receiving the bill. I was just told that I needed to pay for refrigerant (plus other items) because that is not covered under warranty. The reason it needed refrigerant was because the part that had the leak was under warranty. You would think they go hand and hand. I will now be looking for a new plumber and HVAC company for my maintenance contracts and a new unit. This was a very short sighted decision by CFCC”
