“I recently had the pleasure of working with Climate Control. I was in an unfortunate bind where my heat stopped working and I needed the system fixed fast. When I called Climate Control I was reassured that someone would be out within several hours. John D. was the technician and I can not praise him enough for his exceptional customer service. John was able to quickly and efficiently fix the issue. This was my first experience with Climate Control and because of John's professionalism and expertise, I will definitely be a loyal customer from now on. “The service level from CFCC was excellent. Adjustments to my recently installed heating unit was done by John and Matthew. Both gentlemen diagnosed the problem and had the unit running 100 % in short order. They were prompt, really technically proficient and provided many good maintenance tips. “I have been a customer of Chadds Ford Climate control since moving to town in 2019. I have purchased three variable speed heat pumps, a generator, two water heaters and a water shut off valve. I am about to buy another unit to replace my last old unit. I have purchased the maintenance contracts since day one. One of my new (2-3 years old) units froze up. I called and then the technician attempted to fix it. He was nice and thoughtful. However, CFCC had to come back the next day as it froze again. I spoke with someone when I received the bill back in August and they said I should not pay the invoice. Four months later, I am still receiving the bill. I was just told that I needed to pay for refrigerant (plus other items) because that is not covered under warranty. The reason it needed refrigerant was because the part that had the leak was under warranty. You would think they go hand and hand. I will now be looking for a new plumber and HVAC company for my maintenance contracts and a new unit. This was a very short sighted decision by CFCC”

“You recommended a water softener system and installed for a considerable amount of money. I was not told about the level of maintenance and work I need to do to use the system. No explanation on the additional raw material needed to run the equipment? No explanation on the amount of personal F/Up work associated with the service. No f/up on the difference (testing) of water quality with results. When I call customer service I am told you are busy and will get back to me? I am looking for some f/up detail and developing the impression this was a sale to take advantage of the elderly.

“Chadds Ford Climate Control has serviced our HVAC system for the past few years, including spring and fall tune-ups. They have always been professional, knowledgeable, and respectful of our property. Their technicians are on time and friendly, mindful of wearing protective shoe coverings and willing to provide an explanation of what work has been done and the condition of our system. I have no hesitation in recommending their services in southern Chester County, PA!”

“I’ve had at least 6-8 visits so far from the service technicians trying to correct a drip caused by condensation on my mini split unit that was installed less than a year ago. All the technicians have been polite and tried to fix the issue but soon after they leave the problem comes back. I’ve been out to their office two weeks ago to confront them and asked what their plans are to fix this. Another technician has been sent out and what seemed to correct the problem didn’t. All technicians have been polite and accommodating but I’m stuck with a unit that cost $7000 that doesn’t work properly and I have had no response from my last call. Still waiting!”

“I highly recommend these folks. Would have given them six stars if I could. Called them for second opinion. Heat pump was using excessive amount of electricity and producing little heat. Justin, the technician was able to determine it was severely overcharged causing it to draw very high amps. He was able to release the excess freon into an empty freon tank, down to correct pressure. Heat pump then was running at about half of the previous amps and was also much smoother and quieter. He also checked out wiring and plumbing inside. Then went above and beyond to help me get indoor thermostat reconnected to internet so it automatically changed heat pump to backup oil furnace heat at low temperatures. Noticed he wore shoe covers when he came indoors just showing the care and respect they have for customer's home. All of this was accomplished at a very reasonable price, far lower and less complicated than competitor's recommendation who said we had to replace all the freon and that thermostat had to be manually controlled.”

“Had a clogged drain and when the washer ran water would back up . John Chiffons responded to the call and was absolutely amazing. Five stars just doesn't seem enough to rate the job John did. Extremely grateful for the superb job he did – THE BEST”

My only complaint is that I thought the cost for the service provided was excessive for the half an hour it took Justin to complete the job. I know he had to go and get a part but I'm not sure I should have been charged for that.”

“My air conditioning system needed to be checked since it was not working.  Bill McDonald from Chadd’s Ford Climate Control came out to evaluate my air conditioner.
Every aspect of my experience was exceptional.  He was on time and called beforehand to let me know that he would be arriving in 15 minutes.  Bill was super helpful and patient with me and all my questions. He explained every aspect of what needed to be done and gave me plenty of time to process and ask more questions. He was thorough and professional. When he presented the estimate he was polite and did not try to sell anything extra. My repair was perfect. I will use this company again and again.
